AS A JUNIOR (2012): Saw action in 57 games, including 33 starts (21-1B, 12-LF)…Batted .273 with 21 runs, 20 RBI, 10 walks and six doubles in overall games and had a .324 clip in SEC action…All five of his homers came in league play…Started six of the Gators’ seven NCAA Tournament contests and registered a .300 batting average…Went 2-for-3 in the NCAA College World Series opener against South Carolina…Had an RBI single in game two of the NCAA Gainesville Super Regional versus NC State after going 1-for-2 with a walk and stolen base in the first meeting between the Gators and the Wolfpack…Matched a career high with two doubles in the first Regional victory over Georgia Tech…Went 2-for-4 and scored a run in the second matchup with Vanderbilt at the SEC Tournament…Clubbed a three-run homer as part of a four-run first inning in the second game at Auburn and was 2-for-4 with two runs...Set a school record with 20 putouts in the 16-inning marathon victory over Georgia…Opened the second inning of the rubber match at Tennessee with a homer and was 2-for-4 with a couple of runs in the 8-1 triumph over the Vols…Established a career high by driving in four runs in the series opener with LSU…Had an RBI double down the right-field line in the second inning, a run-scoring fielder’s choice in the fourth and a two-run single up the middle in the eighth…Swatted a tie-breaking, three-run homer in the eighth inning to defeat Ole Miss…Came through with an RBI single in the sixth and added a single in the eighth that scored Taylor Gushue to help the Gators down No. 4 Florida State in Jacksonville…Belted a pair of solo homers in the sixth and ninth inning as the Orange and Blue evened its series at No. 6 South Carolina…Lofted a pinch-hit sacrifice fly against the Gamecocks in the series opener…Scored a run in four-straight games from March 3-7…Drew a career-best two walks in the win over Florida Atlantic.

 

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in 41 games, with 19 starts (14-1B, 4-DH, 1-3B), and was 29-for-76 (.382) with 17 runs, seven RBI, five doubles and five walks…Was 16-for-35 (.457) in 19 SEC contests, with eight starts…Appeared in eight NCAA Tourney games and batted .296 (8-for-27) with four runs and three RBI…Singled in game two of the CWS Championship Finals, when he was 1-for-3…Connected on his first career homer in the second inning of the decisive game of the Gainesville Super Regional versus Mississippi State…Hit.455 (5-for-11) with three runs and two doubles in the Gainesville Regional…Was 3-for-4 in the final game against Miami (Fla.) with a double and a stolen base…Went 1-for-3 and drew a key walk in the ninth inning in the first meeting with the Hurricanes…Started the tourney by going 1-for-4 with an RBI in the romp over Manhattan…Played in four games at the SEC Tourney, with two starts (DH/1B) and was 3-for-8 (.375)…Was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored against Vanderbilt…Doubled and scored in the win over Georgia…Had a pinch-hit single in the ninth of game one with the Bulldogs…Saw action in all three games of the Kentucky series and was 2-for-6 (.333)…Had an RBI single in the finale…Was 1-for-3, scored twice and collected and RBI in the opener…Started at first base against Jacksonville and was 1-for-1…Started twice at Arkansas and was 2-for-6 (.333)…Had a pinch-hit single, scored a run and played third base in the shutout of Bethune-Cookman… Made his first two starts of the season at first base in the sweep of Ole Miss and was 6-for-9 (.667) with three runs…Went 2-for-4 and scored on Sunday…Was 4-for-5 with two doubles and a stolen base in the series opener…Made his second start at DH and was 1-for-2 with a run scored in game two against Alabama…Drove in first run as a Gator in the second game with Mississippi State with an RBI single…Was 2-for-3 (.667) in the first two games of the set with Tennessee…Had a pinch-hit single on Friday for his first hit as a Gator and then was 1-for-2 as the DH on Saturday…Made Gator debut by playing first base in the ninth inning of the win over FAU.

 

AT MIAMI (2009): Played in 26 games, with 10 starts, as a true freshman at the University of Miami during the 2009 season…Batted .292 (14-for-48) with six RBI, six runs and three doubles…The Hurricanes were 38-22 overall and were ousted from the NCAA Tournament by the Gators in the Gainesville Regional…Was supposed to play at Miami Dade Community College in ’10 but suffered an injury that required him to take a medical redshirt.

 

SUMMER: Played with Gator teammates Alex Freedman and Jeff Moyer for the Wilmington (N.C.) Sharks of the Coastal Plain League in 2011…In 17 games, Ramjit batted .211 with seven RBI, six runs, four walks, three doubles, two homers and a triple.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Joe Webber at Christopher Columbus High School…Named all-county as a senior after hitting .387 with two home runs and 37 RBI in 2008…Had similar numbers his junior year, hitting .385 with two homers and 31 RBI…Led his team to the second round of the playoffs his senior year and to the third round his junior year.
