AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): Was 4-3 with three saves and a 4.20 earned run average in 25 appearances, with four starts…Registered 36 strikeouts and gave up 18 walks in 49.1 innings…Held opponents to a .247 batting average…Was 1-2 with a couple of saves and a 5.40 ERA in 11 SEC appearances and four starts…In 28.1 innings during league action, Hanhold totaled 15 strikeouts in 28.1 innings…Picked up the win over Kentucky at the SEC Tournament with 3.1 scoreless innings in which he had a career-high four K…Set down all six batters he faced and had two strikeouts in the series-opening victory at No. 20 Alabama to earn a save…Preserved the decisive game-three triumph at No. 4 South Carolina with a strikeout to end the game…Limited No. 4 LSU to one run over a career-high seven innings but was not involved in the decision, as Justin Shafer delivered a walk-off homer in the ninth…Notched first career SEC win by downing Arkansas with five scoreless innings…It was the right-hander’s first start of the campaign and clinched the series win over the Hogs…Saw action in all three outings in the sweep of UConn…Totaled three strikeouts over two innings versus the Huskies and was the winner of the opener, a 1-0 decision in 11 innings…Had No. 17 Miami (FL) fly out to secure the Gators’ 6-4 win…Fired three scoreless frames in his season debut to take the rubber game against Maryland for his first collegiate win.

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): The righty made 14 appearances and seven starts in his first collegiate season, going 0-4 with a 5.88 ERA…Totaled 24 strikeouts and permitted 11 walks in 33.2 innings overall and was 0-3 with a 6.16 ERA in eight SEC outings, four of which were starts…Drew the starting assignment in the regular-season finale at Georgia (2.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R)…Limited Auburn to one run over a season-high five innings but was on the hook for the loss…Struck out three USF hitters over two perfect innings in the Gators’ 12-1 triumph…Turned in a sterling 3.1-inning effort in the 15-inning victory at Missouri in which he retired all 10 batters that he faced…Closed the sweep of No. 8 South Carolina with a perfect ninth and two strikeouts…Yielded six hits and two runs over three innings in his starting debut against Florida Gulf Coast…Debuted in impressive fashion by striking out two of the three Duke batters he encountered to finish the opening-series win for the Gators.

 

SUMMER: Played for the Orleans (Mass.) Firebirds of the Cape Cod League last summer with fellow UF pitcher Bobby Poyner…Ranked as the No. 15 prospect in the CCBL by Baseball America in 2014…Was 1-2 with a 3.42 ERA in six appearances and made four starts in the regular season…Had 24 strikeouts and only six walks in 23.2 innings…Started Game 2 of the Eastern Division semifinal series but fell to eventual champion Yarmouth-Dennis…Rated the No. 2 prospect in the Northwoods League by Baseball America in 2013…Was a member of the Lakeshore (Wis.) Chinooks with Gator teammate Harrison Bader…Went 3-1 with a 2.70 ERA in nine appearances, six starts and three stints out of the bullpen…Totaled 27 strikeouts in 40 innings and also recorded one save as the Chinooks captured the second-half division title and clinched the team’s first-ever playoff berth.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Right-handed pitcher from East Lake High School who played for head coach Dan Genna…Taken in the 40th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies with the 1,238th and final pick of the three-day event… Named the 14th “Don't Count Him Out” player recognized by MLB.com, as he was the last player chosen in the Draft…Was named to Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason Florida Region Second Team prior to his senior year…Was 7-3 with a 1.14 ERA and helped East Lake to the Class 8A District Championship in 2012…Voted as his team’s Most Valuable Player and collected all-state honors for Class 8A…First-team selection from the North County on the Pinellas County Athletic Conference Team…Appeared on the ballot for the Mr. Baseball Award presented by the Florida Dairy Farmers…Participated in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Baseball Classic, becoming just the fourth player from East Lake…Also played in the 6th Annual Tampa Bay High School All-Star Classic held at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays…Chosen as one of the Top 8 seniors in his county…Tossed a complete-game, three-hitter in a 1-0 win over Dunedin…Named to the Dunedin Spring Classic All-Tournament Team after pitching five shutout innings during a 3-0 victory over Countryside…Fired five scoreless and hitless innings and totaled 12 strikeouts against Pinellas Park in the Eagles’ regular-season opener…Was 9-2 as a junior with 51 strikeouts and a 1.83 ERA while earning second-team all-conference recognition…Defeated Dunedin in the district semifinals as East Lake went on to win the Class 5A District 11 title.
