AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2014): Selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 34th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft at No. 1,025…Was sidelined for the Gators’ season.

 

AS A JUNIOR (2013): Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row…Limited to 5.1 innings over three appearances and two starts before undergoing season-ending surgery…Kish had compiled a 3.38 earned run average, with seven strikeouts and three walks…Worked two innings apiece in mid-week starts against North Florida and UCF while working on a pitch count…Notched three strikeouts in two scoreless frames versus the Knights in his collegiate starting debut on Feb. 19…Totaled two K in 1.1 innings on opening night against Duke.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll…Registered a 1.98 ERA in 13 relief appearances spanning 27.1 innings…Kept the opposition off of the scoreboard in eight outings…Had 28 strikeouts compared to just five walks and opponents batted .198 against him…Saw action in four SEC games and had a 1.54 ERA in 11.2 innings, with 10 K and three walks, while holding foes to a .105 batting average…Appeared in three NCAA Tournament contests and had a 4.15 ERA in 4.1 innings…Tied a career high with four strikeouts over three innings in the Gators’ matchup with South Carolina at the NCAA College World Series…Collected his first career save against NC State in game two of the NCAA Gainesville Super Regional to punch UF’s ticket to Omaha…Caught Wolfpack shortstop Chris Diaz looking on strikes in the bottom of the 10th inning to complete the contest…Had four strikeouts over 3.2 innings of scoreless ball versus Mississippi State on May 12…Logged four shutout innings in back-to-back appearances against Arkansas (April 28) and North Florida (May 8)…Fanned three USF batters over two perfect frames on April 24…Limited LSU to one run over three innings in the series opener on April 5…Season debut was a three-strikeout effort in two scoreless innings against Florida Atlantic on March 6.

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll…Compiled a 0.63 ERA with a 0-0 ledger in 12 appearances…Over 14.1 innings, he gave up 11 hits, collected 12 strikeouts, issued seven walks and surrendered one earned run…Participated in six SEC games, totaling six innings, and allowed one run for a 1.50 ERA…Appeared twice during the NCAA Tournament, a scoreless inning in the Gainesville Super Regional opener against Mississippi State (1 H, 2 K) and logged a season-high 3.2 innings in the Gainesville Regional win over Manhattan (5 H, 3 R, 0 ER, 3 K)…Did not permit any runs in his first eight collegiate outings…Had a pair of strikeouts in the 9-2 victory over Alabama that clinched the series…First road action came at Mississippi State, where he threw a hitless and scoreless eighth inning in the first encounter between the Gators and Bulldogs…Kept South Carolina out of the scoring column in one inning of work on March 25…Retired all three batters he faced and totaled two strikeouts in his collegiate debut, a 12-4 win against Rhode Island on March 12.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Right-hander/infielder from Germantown Academy who played for head coach John Duffy…Chosen by the New York Yankees in the 34th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft with the 1,045th pick…Ranked No. 3 in the state of Pennsylvania and rated No. 92 in the Class of 2010 Final Rankings from Perfect Game…Was ranked as high as No. 51 on Baseball America’s list of Top 100 High School Prospects…A four-year letterwinner at Germantown who was as team captain, Kish helped the Patriots to a pair of Pennsylvania Independent School League titles in 2008 and 2010 and achieved all-area status…Turned in a 7-3 record in his final season with a 3.56 earned run average and had 74 strikeouts in 59 innings…Named to the 2010 National High School Baseball Coaches Association All-District 2 Team…Was a third-team 2010 Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason All-American…Served as a Patriot Ambassador Officer at Germantown and volunteered at the school’s baseball clinic.
