AS A SENIOR (2010): Closed four-year career with a perfect fielding percentage after not committing any errors in 267 chances…Played in 50 games, with 27 starts (18-LF, 7-RF, 2-CF), and hit .260 with 18 runs, 13 RBI and 10 walks...Was 13-for-43 (.302) in 23 SEC outings and 12 starts...Batted .286 (2-for-7) at the NCAA College World Series, highlighted by a 2-for-4 performance against Florida State in his final collegiate game...Launched a solo shot in the fifth...Started game one of the Super Regional in right field and game two in left field and was 2-for-8 (.250) with two runs...Went 2-for-4 and matched his season high of two runs in the 7-2 victory over UM...Made perhaps the defensive play of the SEC Tourney with a sprawling catch in the bottom of the ninth inning in the elimination game against Arkansas that prevented extra bases...Laid out to snare the line drive and then had the presence of mind to double the runner off first base to end the game and preserve UF’s 5-4 win over the Hogs...Saw action in all three games at South Carolina and was 2-for-6 (.333)...Started in center field in game three and was 1-for-4 with a run scored...Had a pinch-hit single in the ninth of game one...Was 2-for-7 with a two-run homer in the first at USF and had an RBI double in the eighth...Jump-started the five-run fifth inning with a leadoff homer in the series opener at Kentucky...It was his first dinger of the campaign...Hit .417 (5-for-12) in the series at Tennessee and scored twice...Concluded the weekend with a season-high three hits...Went 2-for-4 and scored in the opener...Facing Jacksonville, Pigott made his first start since the opener at Ole Miss and was 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI...Opened the scoring with a two-run triple in the second inning…Was 1-for-2 in the series with Charleston Southern and collected his first RBI of the year with a two-run single in the second inning...Played in two of the three games at Miami (Fla.) and was 1-for-3 (.333)...Doubled, drew a walk and had his first stolen base of the year on Sunday...Col­lected first hit of the campaign with a leadoff single in the third against Florida State in Tampa...Laid down a sacrifice bunt in the second inning as part of a three-run outburst by the Gators versus UCF.

 

AS A JUNIOR (2009): Played in 49 games, with 25 starts in right field, three in left field and one as the designated hitter, and batted .357 with 32 RBI, 31 runs, 15 walks, and six stolen bases...Batted .379 (22-for-58) in 22 SEC games and .333 (12-for-36) during the postseason...Matched a season high with three runs in the NCAA Super Regional opener with Southern Miss and chipped in with a double...Was selected to the All-Tournament Team of the NCAA Gainesville Regional in the outfield after hitting .438 (7-for-16) with a team-high six runs and four RBI...Pigott matched Preston Tucker for the top spot with four homers during the postseason and had three multiple-hit performances in Regional play...Was 3-for-6 and scored three runs in the 16-5 triumph over Miami (Fla.)...Doubled to right center in the first inning and scored on Matt den Dekker’s sac fly...Poked a two-run single in the fifth inning and cruised home on Tucker’s two-run bomb...Also had a base-hit in the sixth and scored on den Dekker’s second sac fly of the game...Was 2-for-5 with a solo shot in the 8-2 win over the Hurricanes on Saturday...Had two hits and scored in the edging of Bethune-Cookman...Joined Tucker on the SEC All-Tournament Team after clubbing three homers in the Gators’ final two contests at Regions Park...Led the squad in slugging percentage (1.000) and total bases (12)...In the rout of seventh-ranked Ole Miss, Pigott became just the second Florida player to homer twice in an SEC Tournament game when he belted round-trippers in both the first and sixth innings...In Friday’s setback to the Hogs, he pulled the Orange and Blue to within 8-7 in the seventh stanza with a two-run jack...The big fly enabled him to match Mike Stanley (1982-85) for Florida’s career record for dingers in the SEC Tournament with three...Pigott had entered the tourney with two homers the entire season...Batted .500 (6-for-12) against Kentucky with four runs, three RBI, and two steals...Paced the Gators in hitting at LSU by going 4-for-12 (.333) with three RBI and two stolen bases...Started all three games in right field at Georgia and collected at least one hit in each contest…Was 6-for-14 (.429) in the series, with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored…Went 3-for-5 in the finale, including a single in the sixth that brought across den Dekker...Drew a pair of walks and notched his second stolen base on Saturday...Belted a two-run homer in the fifth and tied the game in the eighth with a fielder’s choice on Friday, when he was 2-for-6…Was 3-for-6 at the plate with his first triple of the season, drove in two and scored a run in the 15-4 conquest of Stetson…Saw action in two games at Auburn and had a pair of hits off the bench in game two, including a ninth-inning grand slam that capped the scoring in the 24-2 Gator triumph...Played in all three contests in the sweep of Duquesne and was 3-for-7 (.429)...Went 2-for-4 in the finale and had an RBI double...Collected his first RBI of the year with a seventh-inning single.  

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008): Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the first time…Saw action in 46 games and started 39 games in right field…Batted .220 with 22 runs, 16 RBI, 14 walks and seven doubles…Career-best 16-game hitting streak ended on March 11 against FGCU...Was at .164 in conference play, with 10 runs, four RBI and four doubles...Entered the game in the seventh inning against USF and hit a two-run bomb in his only at-bat…Pinch ran for Buddy Munroe in the eighth inning of game one at Alabama following the catcher’s double...Advanced to third on a fielding error and scored on a Josh Adams' sacrifice fly to tie the game...Made the catch on a fly ball to right and threw a runner out at home plate to turn a double play with two runners on and the Gators holding a 4-2 seventh-inning lead in game three against fifth-ranked Georgia...Came through with a pair of clutch plays to seal the two wins over North Florida...Gunned down a UNF runner attempting to tie the game for an inning-ending double play in the eighth on Wednesday...Snapped a 3-3 tie with an RBI single in the seventh on Tuesday...Opened the scoring in game two versus LSU with an RBI double and was 2-for-5...Continued to swing a hot stick by going 4-for-9 (.444) over the two meetings with Campbell...Matched a career high with a 3-for-5 effort in the second meeting with the Fighting Camels...Delivered an RBI single in the first frame of the opener...Was 2-for-7 (.286) at Miami (Fla.), missing most of the second game after being hit by a pitch...Singled in the eighth to extend his hitting streak to a dozen games…Pulled the Gators to within 7-4 on Friday with his first homer of the campaign...Tied for the team lead with a .667 (4-for-6) average in the two games with Eastern Michigan and had two hits in each one…Notched a career-best three RBI in the first encounter with the Eagles and had a double and a triple...Ranked third on the Gators with a .400 (4-for-10) showing in the sweep of the Siena...Went 2-for-3 on opening night and was also hit twice...Notched his first RBI of the year with a seventh-inning single in the finale.

SUMMER: Played for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod League in the summer of 2007…In 24 games, he batted .182 (10-for-55) with five sacrifice hits and four stolen bases.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: An outfielder for head coach Anthony Campanella at Seabreeze High School, Pigott earned honorable mention all-state honors in Class 5A in 2006…Selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 31st round, 938th overall, of the 2006 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft…Was named the Offensive Player of the Year after hitting .430 as a senior…Was a first-team all-area and first-team all-district selection as a junior…The Sandcrabs' '05 Defensive Player of the Year batted .353 and led his club in walks (17) and doubles (six)…Ranked seventh by Baseball America on the list of the top-20 prospects for the Class of 2006 at the East Coast Professional Showcase...Participated in the Area Code Games at the West Coast Showcase and the Florida Diamond Club Showcase and improved his SPARQ rating 10 points between August and October, 2005…The SPARQ rating is a system designed to measure sport-specific athleticism and measures the tangibles of explosiveness, power and speed….During his sophomore campaign, Pigott helped Seabreeze to the district championship by hitting a team-best .373 on his way to Offensive Player of the Year, first-team all-area and first-team all-district mention…Was a member of the National Honor Society and made the Honor Roll every semester…Earned Superintendent and Principal's Awards for outstanding achievement.
