AS A JUNIOR (2009): Drafted in the 22nd round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Minnesota Twins with the 672nd choice…Played in 51 games, starting 40 games behind the plate and four as the designated hitter...Hit .270 with 26 RBI and 23 runs...Had 11 walks, seven doubles, five homers and was 3-for-4 on the basepaths...Hit .275 in SEC action with 14 runs, 14 RBI, and five doubles...Eight of his 25 hits in league play went for extra bases, as he had five doubles and three round-trippers...Played in both games of the Super Regional and was 0-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts... Started two of the three games at catcher during the NCAA Gainesville Regional and was 2-for-5 in the finale against Miami (Fla.)...Had an RBI grounder in the five-run first inning and later doubled and scored in the third stanza...Saw action in all three games at the SEC Tourney, with two starts, and was 2-for-8 (.250)...Came through with a two-run single in the seventh against Ole Miss, when he was 2-for-3...Started two games at catcher in Georgia and was 3-for-11 (.273) at the plate with a two-run homer in the game-two triumph…Was 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs and belted his career-high fourth homer of the year in the 12-3 win over FGCU...Batted 3-for-10 (.300) with two runs, an RBI and his fifth double of the season at Auburn... Doubled and scored against Florida State in Jacksonville…Continued to shine in league competition, as he was 5-for-10 (.500) with four runs in the three wins over Alabama...Went 3-for-4 with a career-high three runs in the opener and tied the game with a seventh-inning double...Chipped in with two hits in the finale...Started all three games behind the plate in the sweep of Tennessee, going 3-for-8 (.375) with a three-run homer over the weekend...Met or surpassed single-game career highs in game two with three hits, four RBI and  a home run and set a career high with two walks in game three...Delivered the game-winning hit, a walk-off single with a one-out and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth to down FSU on St. Patrick’s Day...Was 3-for-5 with two RBI in the triumph over the Seminoles...Was 3-for-8 (.375) and scored twice at Arkansas...Went 2-for-4 with a double in the opener and had two runs…Went 2-for-2 in game two against Eastern Michigan, highlighted by a three-run jack in the sixth inning...The blast was his first since May 9 of last year at Alabama...Also had an infield hit and a stolen base...Started the first and third games of the series with Louisville and was 3-for-7 (.429)...Was 2-for-4 in the finale with an RBI single in the second and kept the game alive in the ninth with a two-out single before Mike Mooney’s walk-off hit.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008): Started at catcher 32 times in 38 games played and batted .237 with 17 RBI...Scored 15 runs, with four doubles, three homers and three sac flies...Batted .259 in SEC play with 12 RBI and 11 runs...Was 0-for-4 with an RBI grounder in the season-ending setback to Florida State in NCAA Regionals…Went 1-for-6 (.167) at the SEC Tournament...Started the first and third games behind the plate in the Vanderbilt series and was 1-for-5 (.200) with a double and a run scored...Started two games behind the plate at Alabama, going 2-for-5 (.400)...Went 2-for-3 in game one with a two-RBI home run and a double...Started games one and three at South Carolina and went 2-for-6 (.333) with two walks, two runs, and an RBI...Stole the first base of his career in game three...Was 1-for-7 (.143) against Arkansas and had his third sac fly in the game-two triumph...Trimmed the Seminoles’ lead to 2-1 in the fifth with an infield hit in Jacksonville on April 1...Made all three starts during the LSU series but was 2-for-10 (.200)...Snapped 4-4 tie in the opener with a three-run jack in the seventh inning...Started every game of the series at Ole Miss and was second on UF with a .400 (4-for-10) effort...Set a season high with three RBI and belted his first homer in the finale, when he was 2-for-3 and scored twice...Had a sac fly (2nd), homer (6th) and RBI single (7th) in that contest...Started two of the three games to begin SEC play versus Auburn and was 2-for-7 (.286) with two runs...Collected his first two doubles by going 2-for-3 with an RBI in game two...Delivered a pinch-hit single to drive in Jon Townsend with the Gators’ initial run of the Miami (Fla.) series...Started the first game of the twinbill with Eastern Michigan and was 1-for-3 with an RBI single in the fifth inning.

 

AT CLEMSON (2007): Joined the Gators after seeing action in five games as a rookie for Clemson…Munroe hit .167 (1-for-6) had five putouts, one assist, and committed one error in '07…Delivered a pinch-hit single in his first career plate appearance against Western Carolina on March 28 and made his first career start as the designated hitter in the first game of a doubleheader against Boston College on May 6…Also saw action off the bench against Wofford on May 8, against the College of Charleston on May 15, and at No. 10 Coastal Carolina in the Myrtle Beach Regional on June 4…The Tigers finished 41-23 overall and advanced to the NCAA Starkville Super Regional.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was chosen all-state as a senior at Christopher Columbus High School under head coach Joe Weber…Was a member of the East Coast Professional Showcase and Florida Diamond Club in 2005…Rated as the No. 195 prospect in the nation by Perfect Game and the No. 20 prospect in Florida by the organization...As a junior, he hit .383 with 39 RBI, eight homers and struck out only seven times…His squad captured the 6A state championship when he was a freshman.
