AS A JUNIOR (2009): Was a second-round pick in the 2009 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft by the Minnesota Twins who was taken 70th overall…Became the highest Gator pitcher chosen since Justin Hoyman went in the second round to the Cleveland Indians in 2004 with the 47th selection…Earned second-team All-SEC recognition…Made a team-high 34 appearances and was 3-3 with a 2.64 earned run average…Collected 11 saves, third in the Southeastern Conference, and tied for the fourth-most in a single-season by a Florida hurler…Wound up two saves shy of the Gator record shared by Josh Fogg (1998) and Danny Wheeler (1994)…Over 47.2 innings, Bullock registered 50 strikeouts, issued 22 walks and limited opponents to a .231 batting average…Voted as one of the two relievers on the All-SEC team after collecting seven saves during conference activity…Had a 1-2 league ledger with a 2.29 ERA in 15 appearances, with 22 K in 19.2 innings…Suffered the loss in game two of the NCAA Super Regional against Southern Miss when he was roughed up for three runs in the eighth inning as Florida was protecting a 6-4 lead…Closed out Miami (Fla.) twice in the NCAA Gainesville Regional with a total of four strikeouts in two scoreless frames…Earned the come-from-behind victory over Bethune-Cookman to start NCAA play when the Gators plated three runs in the bottom of the ninth to pull out an 8-7 win…Finished all three games during the road sweep of No. 6 Georgia, picking up a win and two saves…Struck out three batters over 1.1 innings and Florida used an 11th-inning single by Tyler Thompson to take the opener, 10-9…The righty retired all six batters he faced in game two as the Orange and Blue edged the Bulldogs, 7-6, and then completed the weekend with a save in the finale…The Gators had trailed 7-5 entering the last stanza but used a go-ahead three-run homer by Preston Tucker and a two-run single by Jerico Weitzel to seize control…Was instrumental in UF’s first sweep of Eastern Division rival South Carolina since 1997 by appearing in all three games with two saves and three scoreless innings…Matched a season high with four strikeouts over three innings and notched the victory against FGCU when the clubs met in Fort Myers…Fanned four of the eight batters he faced in the 10-2 victory at Florida State…Saved two of the three wins over Alabama and was perfect over 2.2 innings…Preserved the 5-3 win at home against UNF…Fanned two of the three Tennessee hitters he faced as the Gators collected their first SEC victory of the year...Started the SEC opener at Arkansas but was on the hook for the defeat after giving up six runs (two earned) and four hits over 3.1 innings…Earned his first career save in the season opener with two scoreless innings in the 6-3 triumph over No. 8 Louisville.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008): Made the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the first time…Made 18 appearances and tied for third on the Gators with 11 starts...Was 4-5 with a 5.01 ERA and led the club with 63 strikeouts in 82.2 innings…Held opponents to a .277 average, second-lowest by a Florida starter…Had a 3-1 record in SEC play, registered a 4.43 ERA in 10 appearances and started nine of the 10 conference series…Appeared in both games of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, working 1.2 scoreless innings against Florida State and taking the loss to Tulane…Started the SEC Tournament elimination game versus South Carolina and suffered the defeat (1.1 IP, 6 H, 5 R)…Went seven innings in back-to-back outings against Vanderbilt (May 15) and Alabama (May 9)…Tied his career high of seven strikeouts over 5.1 innings and picked up the 9-3 victory at No. 12 South Carolina that began the series…Established a personal best with seven K in the first meeting with fifth-ranked Georgia…Scattered 10 hits and two earned runs in the dramatic come-from-behind triumph over LSU…Tossed a career-long eight innings at No. 8 Ole Miss, allowing five hits and four runs, but was not involved in the decision…Started UF's league opener against Auburn and delivered 6.1 innings of one-run ball to earn his first career conference win…Bullock's first four appearances of the year were from the bullpen…This was highlighted by a six-inning stint on opening night against Siena in which he allowed just one run and had six K…The Orange and Blue notched a 10-7 win in Kevin O'Sullivan's head coaching debut and Bullock collected the decision.

 

AS A FRESHMAN (2007): All 15 of Bullock's appearances in his first season were starts, including 10 in SEC play…Finished 2-7 with a 6.31 ERA in 61.1 innings…Registered 37 strikeouts and issued 24 walks…Did not receive a decision in the 5-4 win over Kentucky on April 22 despite holding the high-powered Wildcats to one run on five hits over five innings…Limited Georgia to one run in 5.2 innings of work as the Gators completed a weekend sweep of the Bulldogs with a 3-2 decision in 11 frames…Fired five scoreless innings in the 20-3 romp over George Washington in the series finale…Tossed a season-high seven innings and totaled six strikeouts in the 1-0 setback to Kent State on Feb. 25…Collected the Gators' initial win of the campaign in his first start, a 7-0 shutout of VMI…Struck out four Keydets and gave up four hits over 5.2 innings.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Riverview High School for head coach Bill Leiby…. Served as captain during his senior year…Selected in the 20th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft with the 593rd pick by the Los Angeles Dodgers…Established single-game school record with 16 strikeouts during the '06 season…Hampered by a rib injury as a junior, he was 2-0 on the mound and registered a 1.17 ERA in 18 innings…Was tabbed as a 2005 Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American…Honorable mention all-county as a sophomore, when he was 5-3 with a 3.57 ERA…Led the Sharks in innings (51), strikeouts (37) and games started (11)…Also played for Chet Lemon's Juice during the summer…Participated in student government at Riverview.
