AS A JUNIOR (2009): Achieved Academic All-SEC status for the third time…Appeared in 37 games with 24 starts, 19 at second base and five at third base...Hit .226 with 17 runs, 16 RBI and nine walks...Was 2-for-3 on the basepaths...Had a .220 (9-for-41) average in 17 SEC games…Pinch ran for Teddy Foster in game three at Georgia and scored one of the six Gator runs in the ninth inning to cap the series sweep over the Bulldogs…Pinch ran for Foster in the ninth inning against USF and scored to help the Gators send the game into extra innings...Appeared in all three games at Vanderbilt with a start in game one, going 1-for-5 at the plate…Although he had a 3-for-12 (.250) weekend against Alabama, Pisani played a key role in Sunday’s win...Snapped a 5-5 tie with a solo shot to lead off the fourth for his second homer...Smacked a two-run double in the fifth, ended the afternoon 2-for-4 and scored twice...Was 2-for-4 with two RBI in the 7-3 victory at UCF...Scored the Gators’ first run of the game on Matt den Dekker’s single in the third inning...Enjoyed a career day in the finale against Duquesne, when he was 2-for-3 with a career-high six RBI, including his first-ever grand slam and triple...Was 3-for-7 (.429) over the two games versus Eastern Michigan...Went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and scored twice in game two...Notched a pair of run-scoring singles during the opener...Came off the bench with a two-out, pinch-hit single in the bottom of the ninth of the final meeting with Louisville for his initial hit of the season...Scored the winning run on Mike Mooney’s game-winning hit.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2008): Chosen to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight year…Started 23 games at second base, nine at first base, three at designated hitter and two in right field and hit .271 in 47 games...Scored 34 runs, tallied 28 RBI and had eight doubles, five homers and two sac flies...Led the Gators with nine HBP...Drew 14 walks and had six stolen bases in nine attempts...In SEC contests, Pisani batted .224 in 23 games with 16 starts...Tied a then-career high with four RBI against Florida State at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional…Poked an RBI double in the second and blasted a game-tying, three-run homer in the fifth…Played in all three games against Vanderbilt, with two starts, and was 2-for-7 (.286)...Drove in two runs with a double in the fourth inning of the series opener...Put the Gators on the scoreboard in the second inning with a two-run homer to left in the 12-2 rout of USF...Finished the day 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored...Matched career high with three runs and was 2-for-2 in the 11-10 edging of Bethune-Cookman...Singled to center and swiped second in the eighth inning in Florida’s 7-2 victory over Georgia in the series finale...Ranked second on the club in the Arkansas series by going 3-for-10 (.300)...Had a two-out RBI single in game three after a 2-for-3 showing that featured a two-run dinger on Saturday...Went 2-for-6 (.333) during the two meetings with North Florida, highlighted by a 2-for-4 effort in game two...Chipped in an RBI single in the second inning... Started all three games at Tennessee at first base and was 2-for-9 (.222)...Closed the weekend by going 2-for-3, including a double...Made the first two starts of his career in right field in the home-and-home set with Jacksonville...Started league play by going 3-for-7 (.429) against Auburn and scoring three times in two games...Collected an RBI single in the finale after jacking a three-run bomb in the first frame of game two...Went 2-for-3 with a double and a career-high two stolen bases in the third game with Brown...Led the Gators to a sweep of Campbell by going 4-for-7 (.571) with four runs...Launched a solo shot in the third inning of game one, his first homer since Feb. 13, 2007 against Florida A&M…Went 4-for-8 (.500) in the doubleheader against Eastern Michigan, featuring a 3-for-4 performance in game one...Closed the opening series with Siena by going 3-for-3 and had two sacrifice flies.

 

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2007): Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll…Batted .254 in 33 starts, 17 at third base and 16 at second base...Drove in 19 runs, scored 11 runs and smacked six doubles in 39 games...Had 12 free passes and was hit eight times...Had a .258 average in 19 SEC games (16 starts) and scored six runs...Went 2-for-4 versus North Florida and matched his season high with two RBI...Had two hits in the game-two win over Alabama...Was 4-for-13 (.308) in the series triumph over Kentucky and started all three games at 2B...Had two hits in the finale and collected a pair of RBI in the second matchup with the Wildcats...Made two starts at Arkansas and went 2-for-7 (.286) with an RBI single and a run scored...Had an RBI single in the eighth inning of the opener with South Carolina...Was 2-for-5 (.400) at Georgia, contributing one hit both Friday and Sunday...Tallied two RBI in the 10-3 win over Auburn that completed a weekend sweep and was 2-for-5...Hit .375 (3-for-8) with two RBI against Kent State...Went 2-for-2 in the opener and drew a season-high two walks...Poked two doubles and drove in two runs versus Florida State...Had an RBI single in the 7-5 victory over Miami (Fla.)...Enjoyed a big night in the 15-1 thrashing of Florida A&M, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, including a double and his first homer...Doubled to left center in his first career start on Feb. 10 against VMI.

 

(2006): Was redshirted in his first season on the Florida campus.

 

SUMMER: Joined Gator teammate Patrick Keating on the Peninsula (Va.) Pilots of the Coastal Plain League in 2006…Made 31 starts and played in 41 games, registering a .204 batting average…Scored 17 runs, totaled 12 RBI, drew nine walks, collected seven doubles and had three sacrifice hits.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for head coach Ted Parsons at Barron Collier High School…The Cougars captured three district titles during Pisani's tenure and finished as the regional runner-up twice…Squad compiled a 72-19 (.791) record between his sophomore and senior seasons…Earned second-team all-state honors as a senior, when he hit .402 with 25 runs, 18 runs batted in and 10 doubles…Was also a first-team All-Collier County and all-area choice…Served as the team's captain in his final campaign…Participated in the 2005 Florida Athletic Coaches' Association All-Star Game in Sebring…Was a second-team all-state selection as a junior, as well as a first-team all-county and all-area choice…Batted .330 that season with 22 RBI and was 9-0 on the mound with a 1.02 earned run average over 53 innings.
