AS A SENIOR (2008): Achieved SEC Academic Honor Roll status for the first time…Taken by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 41st round of the Major League Baseball Draft with the 1,249th selection…Compiled a team-low 2.87 earned run average over his 26 appearances…Had a 4-3 record and collected two saves in 47 innings…Totaled 33 strikeouts and issued 18 walks…Edmondson finished among UF's career leaders with 96 appearances and sported a career mark of 11-4 with a 3.39 ERA…His final collegiate action came during the SEC Tournament, when he surrendered three hits and five runs (zero earned) in 2.2 innings to South Carolina…Won the series opener against Vanderbilt with 1.2 scoreless innings as the Gators rallied for an 8-6 victory with four runs in the eighth…Kept No. 5 Georgia off the board for 2.1 innings to preserve the rubber game of the series, a 7-2 UF win on April 27…Matched his career high of four strikeouts in the 2-1 setback to Arkansas on April 11…Picked up the 5-3 decision over North Florida with 2.2 scoreless frames of one-hit ball…Recorded the final two outs to defeat eventual Western Division champion and World Series participant LSU, highlighted by a strikeout with two Tigers aboard to close the game…It was Edmondson's first save since March 8, 2006 against UNC Greensboro…Crafted three perfect innings in the 2-1 nail-biter over Florida Gulf Coast to earn the victory…Had a season-high 4.1-inning stint in the 15-3 rout of Campbell for his first win of 2008…Worked a total of 4.1 innings in the first series against Siena without allowing a run.

AS A JUNIOR (2007): Led the Gators in appearances for the second-straight year with 31…Was 2-1 and ranked second on the squad with a 3.83 ERA…Notched 30 strikeouts and allowed 11 walks in 51.2 innings out of the bullpen…Worked all three games in the Vanderbilt series, spanning two innings, but was tagged for seven runs… Kept Kentucky's high-powered offense in check with 2.2 scoreless innings in the series opener on April 20…Made four-straight appearances without yielding a run between March 30-April 8, all Gator wins…Matched career high of 4.2 innings and earned the decision in the 12-9 victory at No. 21 Auburn on March 24…Registered three strikeouts and permitted one earned run to the Tigers…Edmondson's 3.2 scoreless innings enabled the Orange and Blue to stay close against Stetson, only to fall short by a 4-3 margin…An unearned run to Jacksonville put him on the hook for the 6-5 setback on March 6…It was his first loss after going 5-0 in 2006…Pitched 5.1 scoreless frames in the season-opening series with VMI.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE (2006): Tied Georgia's Joshua Fields for the SEC lead with 35 appearances…Sported a perfect 5-0 season ledger and rated third on the Gators with a 3.21 ERA…Was 2-for-2 in save opportunities, both against UNC Greensboro…Tallied 37 strikeouts and yielded 10 walks in 67.1 innings, the third-most frames pitched on the squad…Did not walk more than one batter in any stint…Left-handers batted .270 (24-for-89) against him, while right-handers had a .274 (46-for-168) clip…Saw action against every SEC club that Florida faced and was 1-0 with a 2.89 ERA in 17 league outings…Logged a career-high 4.2 innings and surrendered one run against Auburn on April 21…Earned back-to-back wins at Tennessee (3.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R) and Florida State (1.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R) in mid-April…Collected the 6-5 win over South Florida with 1.2 scoreless innings…Whiffed four of the six batters he faced versus Florida A&M and was the pitcher of record in the hosts' 15-5 victory…Picked up first career win at No. 16 Miami (Fla.) in the wild 11-10 finale…Totaled three strikeouts over three innings in UF's 10-0 whitewash of Cincinnati on opening night.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005): Appeared in four games as a rookie, logging 3.2 innings and recording five strikeouts…Allowed one earned run in an inning of work versus Michigan State on March 12, as the Gators cruised to a 13-2 win over the Spartans…Struck out both batters he faced in the opener of the series with Villanova on March 4…Tossed a scoreless frame with two K against Florida A&M on Feb. 22…Made collegiate debut in the finale against Charleston Southern on Feb. 13, giving up three hits and two earned runs…Florida posted a 15-6 triumph over the Buccaneers to take two-out-of-three at McKethan Stadium.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at LaGrange High School for head coach Donnie Branch…Helped the Grangers to the Class AAA State Championship and a 31-6 overall record in his final season…The victory total was a school record…Finished 11-1 on the mound, recorded a 1.20 earned run average and delivered three one-hitters as a senior…Named as his club's Most Valuable Pitcher two years in a row and received the team's Leadership Award in 2004…Pitched against future UF teammate Matt Hightower of Cartersville High School in the opener of the best-of-three final series at the state tourney…Edmondson won game one, 4-1, and earned the decision in the decisive third game, 13-10…GHS was 26-7 and reached the semifinals of the state tournament during his junior campaign…Selected to the West Georgia All-Area team and played for Team Georgia during the summer…Chosen as the best pitching prospect at the Georgia Tech Fall Exposure Camp in 2003…Twirled a perfect game against Southwest Macon as a sophomore…Played football at LaGrange with former Gator running back Skyler Thornton…Lettered twice in basketball as a freshman and sophomore…Listed in the publication Who's Who Among American High School Students.
