AS A SENIOR (2006): Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second year in a row…Saw action in 12 games and hit .333 (4-for-12) with five RBI and two runs...Made his starting debut in the opener versus Georgia...Went 0-for-3 as the squad's designated hitter...Proved to be an effective pinch hitter for the Gators, going 4-for-9 (.444) with five RBI...Singled in the last game of the series at South Carolina...Led off the seventh with a pinch-hit single against Stetson and scored on Austin Pride's two-run double down the left-field line...In his first plate appearance of the year, Quatrino clubbed a pinch-hit, three-run homer in the eighth inning against Cincinnati.
AS A JUNIOR (2005): Selected to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the first time…Competed in four games for UF (Florida A&M, 2/22; Michigan State, 3/11; Ole Miss, 5/28; and Notre Dame, 6/5)...Put an exclamation point on the Gators' triumph over Notre Dame at the Gainesville Regional, when he smacked a pinch-hit, three-run homer in the ninth inning...Not only was the round-tripper Quatrino's first collegiate hit, it came on the initial pitch of the at bat.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2004): Sat out the entire campaign due to injury.
AS A FRESHMAN (2003): Did not see any playing time for the Gators.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in baseball at Jesuit High School in Tampa, Fla., for head coach John Crumbley…Collected the team's Most Improved Player Award in 2001, when he batted .320 with three home runs…Helped lead Jesuit to the state crown in 2000…A member of the National Honor Society, Quatrino also worked at the Muscular Dystrophy Camp.
