Made four appearances and pitched 8.2 innings n SEC games ... Did not give up an earned run in eight of 18 outings ... Made first appearance of season Feb. 19 versus Florida A&M and pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout ... Earned first collegiate win Feb. 25 versus South Florida as he pitched five innings and gave up five hits and one run with six strikeouts ... Pitched career-high six innings at LSU March 14 as he tied his career-best with six strikeouts in that outing ... Pitched three scoreless innings March 1 against Siena to earn win ... Made two appearances in regional and struck out four in postseason play ... Earned win in regional victory over Florida Atlantic May 31 as he went four innings and gave up five hits and four runs ... Only had two wild pitches ... Struck out at least one hitter in 11 outings.

2002: Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll ... His only appearance of the season was a start March 13 vs. College of Charleston ... He earned the win in that game when he threw 3.1 innings and gave up six hits, two earned runs and struck out one ... Academic Scholar-Athlete.

2001: Pitched in five games as a redshirt freshman while sporting a 2.70 ERA ... Struck out six batters in 6.2 innings pitched ... Struck out career-high three batters, allowed one hit and no runs in 2.0 inning performance versus Charleston Southern Feb. 13 ... Appeared in first career game against Savannah State Feb. 7. 2000: Was redshirted his first season on the Florida campus.

SUMMER: Played two consecutive summers with Athletes in Action, a Christian organization based in Kansas City, Mo. (2000 and 2001) ... In 2001, team traveled to Venezuala and Nicaragua and he started 13 games ... Helped lead team to fifth place finish (out of 48 teams) at NBC World Series in Alaska League entry ... In 2000, made 20 appearances with a 3.78 ERA including four appearances in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kansas ... Led World Series in saves (2), games finished (4) and hits allowed (1) ... Team finished fourth out of 48 in the World Series ... Played 1999 summer with the Southwest Florida Baseball Club in the 18 and under AAU division ... Team finished fourth at the AAU National Championships.
