2001-02 AT MANATEE C.C.: Played two seasons at Manatee C.C. for head coach Tim Hill ... Holds the Manatee career record with 15 triples ... Won 2002 junior college state championship after batting .355, with 18 doubles, nine triples, six home runs and 38 RBI ... Named to World Series all-tournament team where he batted .583 with three doubles, two triples, two homers and a RBI ... As a freshman he earned NJCAA All America honors, FJCAA All State honors and selected First Team Sun Coast Conference after leading Manatee Community College to a 40-15 record, sixth straight state tournament appearance and third place finish at the state tournament ... Gulf District all tournament team member ... Hit .375 with 12 doubles, six triples, four home runs and 36 RBI as a freshman at Manatee C.C.
