STORYLINE: Keel is a versatile player who can play several different positions on the field. He originally made the team in fall, 2000 as a walk-on.
2001: Redshirted season.
PREP: A 2000 graduate of Rutherford High School in Panama City, Fla. where he lettered four years in baseball for head coach Jon Hudson...Three-time All State player (1998, 1999, 2000)...Hit .393 with nine doubles, six home runs and 31 RBI and went 7-0 as a pitcher during his senior season...Named team offensive player of the year in 1998 and 1999 and most valuable player in 2000...Career pitching record was 14-3 in three years...Hit 333 with 14 doubles, 10 home runs and 40 RBI and finished with 3-2 pitching record as a junior...Hit .460 with 10 doubles, seven home runs and 25 RBI as a sophomore...Involved in NHS, Hall of Fame, Key Club and IB Program.
