STORYLINE: Klebonis is a senior outfielder who has seen action in 35 career games at Florida. He received his degree in June, 2001 in Computer and Information Sciences and is a two-time SEC Academic honor roll selection. Klebonis should see more action in the outfield this season.

2001: Saw action in 21 games with 12 starts on season (10 at DH, 2 in RF)...Led Gators in pinch hitting and was 5-7 on season with several key hits...Honored with the Coaches Award at team banquet for outstanding attitude...Selected to All SEC Academic Honor Roll...Drove in game-tying hit on pinch hit two RBI single to rightfield vs. Stetson, 4/11...Finished 2-4 with two RBI at Florida State, 2/18...Made first start of the season in DH role vs. Charleston Southern, 2/13 and went 1-5 with two RBI...Went 2-3 with RBI, triple and run in reserve appearance vs. Savannah State, 2/7.

2000: SEC Academic Honor Roll selection...Earned varsity letter after appearing in one game.

1999: Saw action in nine games with three starts...Hit .093 with one RBI on the season...Recorded one hit in 16 at-bats.

SUMMER BASEBALL: Played for the Newark Raptors in the NCBL in 1999...Newark captured the NCBL Championship...Named a starter for the Western Division All-Star Team...Played first base, right field and DH...Hit .331 with two HR and 28 RBI...Four triples, including two in one game, led the league.

PREP: A 1998 graduate of West Orange High School where he was coached by Teddy Craig...Named First Team All-Metro, First Team All County and Class 6A All State Honorable Mention as a senior...Earned Scholar Athlete honors all four years...Hit .357 with five home runs as a senior after posting a .545 batting average with two home runs and 41 RBI as a junior...Named to first team all-state, first team all-county and first team all-central in 1997...As a sophomore, posted a .404 batting average with five home runs and 18 RBI...Named Second Team All County, Second Team All Metro as an outfielder in 1996...Also named to the Orlando Classic All Town Team...Played AAU ball where they placed second nationally in both 1996 and 1997...Also lettered two seasons in football.
