Dill returns as a three-year starter for the Gators. A career .316 hitter, Dill is ranked tied for fourth on UF's all-time career home run list with 32. His 114 career walks is tied for seventh in UF history and is also approaching school records for several other categories. As a Florida freshman, Dill set the single season freshman home run record with 16 and broke the school record with four consecutive games with a home run. He will see action at first base and designated hitter for the 2001 Gators.

2000: Named First-team All-SEC and to ABCA All South Region team as a designated hitter...Selected to Allsport All SEC team...Started 61 games (41 at DH, 9 at 1B, 7 in RF and 4 in LF)...Batting average of .356 was second best for a DH in UF history...Led SEC with 59 walks and tied for seventh nationally in walks per game (0.97)...Led team with 59 walks and .484 on-base percentage (ranked fourth in SEC)...59 walks is tied for seventh in UF history...Had .500 on-base percentage in SEC action...25 multi-hit games was fourth on the team...Had 10 multi-RBI games...Had a career-best 11-game hitting streak from Louisville to Vanderbilt game...Put together a 10-game hitting streak at the end of the regular season...Drew a walk in 13 straight games from second South Carolina game to second Kentucky game...Hit .365 with five home runs and 18 RBI in conference play...Went 4-for-4, a career-high, with two doubles against LSU (4/16)...Hit two home runs against Kentucky (4/8)...Had a season-high five RBI against Kentucky (4/8)...Was a combined 12-for-24 (.500) in Kentucky and LSU series...Hit last home run of season in second LSU game on April 15th...Hit .539 (7-for-13) over the final week of the season, including 5-for-9 against Georgia...Missed five games with hip flexor injury.

1999: Saw action in 37 games with 35 starts...Made 19 starts at first base, 10 in left field and six at DH...Hit .311 with seven HR and 31 RBI...Two game-ending home runs, winning Miami game (2/7) with two-run home run in the ninth inning and Tennessee game (3/20) with leadoff home run in the 13th inning...Tied career highs with three hits, three runs scored, and three RBI against Tennessee (3/19 and 3/21)...Two assists from the outfield... Missed four games with a left shoulder sprain and 14 games with knee sprain.

1998: Collegiate Baseball First Team Freshman All-America selection...Sporting News Second Team Freshman All-America choice...Only true freshman position player in the Florida starting lineup...Saw action in 60 games with 56 starts...Started 40 games at first base, 16 at DH and one in LF...Hit .277 with 16 HR and 51 RBI...15 multi-hit games...16 home runs ranked third on the squad and is the top total for a UF freshman in school history...Also ranks as the fourth-best single-season round tripper total, seventh overall on UF all-time single-season charts...Set school record with home runs in four consecutive games (Kentucky series plus Bethune-Cookman)...Also posted a three-game streak with a home run, joining Brad Wilkerson and Mark Ellis as only UF player to hit homers in three or more games twice...Fielded at .991 with only three errors in 331 chances...Missed four games with strained right knee...Knocked two home runs against Richmond in South I Regional game...Hit .389 (7-for-18) with two home runs and four RBI in NCAA South I Regional...Ejected from championship game against Illinois after strikeout in second inning for throwing bat...Hit one home run in the College World Series.

PREP: A 1997 graduate of Charlotte High School where he was coached by Dave Tollett...Two-time all-state selection...1997 Class 5A All-State third team pick and Class 5A All-State second team selection (INF) in 1996...Four-year letterwinner...Also lettered twice in football...Hit .420 with four HR for Post 103 in 1996 American Legion action.
